Prickly Pear came about one afternoon as a simple discussion between two staff members at David Jones Florist in Melbourne. Edan Haddock and Sarah Hughes discovered a mutual frustration with the industry standard of Australia's online florist stores.

After months of discussion and planning we like to think we have developed one of the most stylish and easy to operate flower sites Australia has to offer. We are planning to expand into Sydney soon, and eventually develop a "Prickly Pear" network nation wide.
