Belfast Cathedral is situated in the heart of Belfast. The Cathedral stands on the site of the Parish Church of St Anne, there has been worship on the site since 1776. The cathedral maintains an Anglican and Irish ethos and identity in its daily worship, whilst providing a hospitable space for civic, community and inter-church services.
The Cathedral was consecrated in 1904 but not completed until 1981, the building is very broad and high built in the Hiberno-Romanesque style. There are various daily prayer services and groups which all are welcome to attend.
