Over the years the house has been loved and well looked after by all of its owners. It now allows the general public to have a glimpse at part of the local history of Leicester. Edmund Cradock a local merchant built it between 1709 & 1713.
Set in the heart of a warm and diverse community, it has seen many changes over the past half century. Visit the Community Gallery which was opened in 2005 and represents the diverse culture of the area.
Belgrave Gardens provide an opportunity to stroll through formal and herbaceous gardens which, were designed in the 1850's. During the 20th century water gardens were added as well as tropical and alpine glass houses.
