This unique walking tour of Edinburgh's Old Town brings to life the history of medicine in Scotland's capital from the founding of the Guild of Barber-Surgeons in 1505 to recent innovations of bionic limbs and Dolly the Sheep.
The tour guides are local historians and fully-trained guides with a wealth of knowledge about Edinburgh and Scotland.
Edinburgh Medical Tour lasts 90 minutes with level walking most of the way. Walking Tours are available from 31 March to 31 October. All tours must be pre-booked and can be arranged daytime or evening, seven days a week.

- The Original Edinburgh Medical Tour is dedicated to the memory of Eric G. Forbes, former Professor of the History of Science and Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. 10% of all full-price adult ticket sales will be donated to Asthma UK.
