The Atholl Country Life Museum is a fascinating experience for people of all ages and allows you to explore the heritage created by previous generations and see how people once lived in Atholl. The Museum, originally set up by local farmer, John Cameron, is now operated by a Trust and is a recognised Scottish Charity.

The museum has many displays such as the old kitchen and box bed, the school, a 1930's post office, a caledonian shield for rifle shooting, the world's largest trophy, an outstanding horse harness, road and rail services, gamekeeper and wildlife, the doctor's horse sleigh and much more.

Read in the museum the life story of Donald MacBeath, father of the Atholl highlande, See the dairy, byre and milk maid with Scotland's only stuffed highland cow and a century of Atholl displayed in one hundred photographs.
