The Canon's Gait

The Canon's Gait is located in the heart of Edinburgh's Royal Mile, and is a traditional and friendly bar serving lunches, real ale and an extensive selection of Malt Whiskies. The Canon's Gait has been a Fringe venue for many years and offers excellent entertainment.

Shows at the Canon's Gait are held in the intimate and atmospheric basement bar, with the ground floor, lounge bar, open throughout the day for a relaxing drink, and a bite to eat.

The bar also hosts live music and bands and during the Fringe festival the venues cellar bar houses a selection of free stand-up and comedy shows every afternoon and evening.
