Blairquhan Castle Weddings

One of the finest Regency castles in Scotland, Blairquhan offers you exclusive use of this magnificent Scottish Castle as the ideal wedding location. The wedding service itself can be held in the Castle, with seating capacity for 100, or if you prefer there is a beautiful church in the nearby village of Straiton.

The stately Castle Dining Room seats up to 50 guests for the wedding meal, and up to 100 guests for a reception. For larger numbers a marquee is available. The Castle is set on 2000 acres of woodlands and an idyllic garden of about 500 acres, providing an ideal location for wedding photography.

The castle still contains all the original furnishings, and has been discreetly modernised to provide modern facilites while maintaining the historic ambiance. Up to 26 guests can stay in luxurious rooms in the Castle itself, and there are nine charming holiday cottages in the castle grounds.
