Taking place every Saturday from 12-3pm, at the Asian Cultural Centre, The East Oxford Farmers Market is a non-profit making organisation, run by volunteers.
In general, the market aim to source food from within 30 miles of Oxford, supporting organic producers, and encouraging community stalls run by local residents. There is also Fairtrade produce from further afield.
The market has a cafe, which runs every week, selling hot lunches, snacks, cakes and hot drinks. The cafe builds on the social and community element of the market, offering a place where people can meet, sit down at a table, and take a break from shopping.
