Located at the South end of Newtonmore, the Clan Macpherson Museum houses many fascinating relics of the history of the Clan. It reflects the desire on the part of Clansmen from Scotland and abroad to bring together, house and display the history and culture of the clan at home and abroad.

Both the museum and it's Curator; Morag Hunter-Carsch, are a wealth of information for those interested in the history of the Clan or the Highlands in general.

The museum is open from 1st April to 31st October each year from 10am to 5pm (last entry 4.30pm), and there is no admission charge, although donations are always welcome. A small stock of Macpherson related souvenirs are available for sale.
