Purple Turtle Art & Design

I am a mixed media artist, combining traditional painting techniques with collage, found objects and words. My art work is inspired by the magnificent natural landscape around my home. The bush, rivers and beaches of south-west Australia all add there own special flavour to my paintings, journals, 3 dimensional objects and fabric art.

My working background is rich and varied spiced with lots of travel. I have worked in an Anthropology Museum in Perth, as a bilingual secretary in Paris, and in Public Relations in London. Now living on a small acreage in rural Australia with my husband, children and our menagerie of animals, I am able to indulge my passion for making art and journalling.
