Oxwich Bay Beach

Oxwich Bay on the Gower peninsular is a truly beautiful beach, with soft white sand stretching for the full length of this long and curving Bay.

Recently voted Britains Best Beach by travel writers who had visited and researched over a thousand beaches worldwide. Oxwich Bay was praised for "magnificent and unspoilt" scenery and as a "great place for adults and children to explore". The award was placed by looking at natural beauty, good sand and sea quality and a 'just-this-minute-discovered' feel. The beach is popular with paddlers, bathers and many high-speed boats and jet skis as the car park is directly on the beachfront. Overlooked by Penrice Castle, and surrounded by extensive dunelands and wooded areas, which are great for children and adults alike to explore.
