Kelburn Castle is set in extensive grounds beside a spectacular glen and waterfall situated half a mile from the sea, overlooking the islands of the Firth of Clyde. The Castle is home of the Earls of Glasgow; its present owners, Patrick and Isabel Boyle, tenth Earl and Countess of Glasgow, continue to use Kelburn as a family home, whilst making it available for accommodation, conferences and functions.
The bedrooms at Kelburn each have their own charm and individual character. There are bedrooms on all four storeys and some of the more intriguing ones are up in the tower on the second and third floors, accessible by one of two winding staircases. There are eight luxurious double bedrooms with private showers or baths and several reasonably priced guestrooms with shared bathroom facilities.
From Kelburn there are many places to visit and a wide variety of sporting activities within walking distance, including golf, sailing, horse riding and all the facilities of Kelburn Country Centre's country park.
