Carlton Guesthouse is located on the esplanade, with outstanding ocean views over Largs bay. An excellent example of a Victorian town house, the guesthouse was built in 1891, and has been welcoming guests for most of its long history.
A delicious and hearty full Scottish breakfast is served in the elegant dining room, with vegetarian and vegan options. Upstairs, the intimate Residents' Lounge has a large-screen TV and an uninterrupted view over the bay and across the Firth of Clyde to the Isles of Cumbrae, Arran and Bute.
Comfortable guestrooms have a wash-basin, hair dryer, tea & coffee-making set and a television. The Carlton is open year round and pets are welcome.
