Local Area: Haworth is the beautiful hillside village in the Yorkshire Moors that was the inspirational home of the Bronte sisters. A visit to The Parsonage Museum is a must, a wonderful display can be seen there that offers a fascinating insight into the lives of the sisters and that of the local villagers of the period. The museum gift shop boasts a marvellous collection of books, all about the area and The Bronte literary history. Following your visit here, why not walk across the moors and see for yourselves "Top Withens" where Emily found her inspiration for Wuthering Heights.
