Barcaldine Weddings

This enchanting mediaeval castle is the ideal choice for your wedding or private party. Barcaldine is one of the few mediaeval castles in Scotland which has remained practically unchanged and is still habitable.

The Castle is the perfect venue in which to entertain guests in exclusive and intimate surroundings. All functions are tailored to suit your requirements with exceptional service and attention to detail. Barcaldine is available for weddings, lunches, birthday/anniversary dinners or just a relaxing gathering with friends.

Weddings of up to 65 guests may be conducted in the castle grounds or beside the candle lit fireplace of the atmospheric Great Hall. For small groups of up to 16 enjoy the intimate Laird's Parlour with roaring open fire.

For larger groups, wedding and function facilities are available in the historic ambience of The Laird's House in nearby Barcaldine village which can accommodate a greater number of overnight guests than the Castle and has ground floor disabled access.
