Set on a thirty-five acre working livestock farm, Oban Rare Breeds Farm Park offers a truly a wonderful day out for all the family. The aim of the park to conserve rare and minority breed farm animals and give the public the chance to meet the animals, most of which are very friendly!

Visitors can enjoy home cooking at the tearoom, relax around the pond, home to Australian Black Swans, geese and ducks while Snookie the Red Deer or Findlay the Fallow Deer stroll over to introduce themselves.

You can pet and cuddle a number of tame animals including pedigree rabbits and guinea pigs, Angora Goats, the beautiful Golden Guernsey Goats and "Haggis" and "Neeps" the cheeky Shetland Ponies.

The Oban Rare Breeds Farm Park is open daily from March 16th till the end of October from 10am - 6pm. The park is situated 2 miles from Oban, past the golf course on the Glencruitten road.
