I used to come to the Sailors Safety Inn (as it used to be called) with my parents when I was younger and loved the old pub and beer garden. A couple of years ago I brought my husband and young son here for a meal and, although the food was OK, the staff (and I think they must be the owners) were very rude and unfriendly ... We enjoyed a lovely relaxing lunch here. The menu ranges from plain and simpole to rich seafood dishes. The staff are very pleasant and friendly, with nothing being too much trouble.
