This former lighthouse-keeper's accommodation, Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse Cottages, also known as Hectors House, sits on the spectacular headland at the southernmost point of the unspoilt Kintyre Peninsula which stretches westwards to within sight of Ireland.
Rugged coast, glorious beaches, lush glens and forests, sandy shores and rocky headlands, this is just some of the scenery that the area offers. Several distilleries specialising in Scotch whisky making can be found in nearby Campbeltown.
Extremely comfortable and very well furnished. This 1788 lighthouse was one of the first to be erected by the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses.
Kintyre is a golfers paradise with two 18 hole courses and 3 nine hole courses in the one small peninsula. Access to the courses is easy and green fees are low.
