Surf Lifesaving Club - Newport

The Newport Surf Lifesaving Club is one of the longest established clubs in Newport and is a registered charity. With a long and successful record of servicing the local community, whilst teaching the youth swimming, first aid, resuscitation and water safety awareness.

During the winter months we hold weekly teaching sessions on at Crymych pool. The children follow the S.L.S.A. GB award structure which allows them to progress from a non swimmer to eventually passing their bronze awards. Each year their hard work culminates in a presentation night.

The safety boat service is available to all water sports between Dinas Head and Morfa Head. The Club has a full social programme and participate enthusiastically in a variety of local events.
