Loch Etive is one of the most attractive in Scotland. It is surrounded by wild countryside climbing to some very distinctive mountains towering over the Loch. it stretches some twenty miles inland from the 'Falls of Lora' at Connel Bridge to the mountains of Glencoe

The cruise on 'Anne of Etive' allows you to soak up some of the most beautiful scenery Scotland has to offer, inaccessible except by boat. A wide variety of wildlife can be seen such as Sea and Golden Eagles and also a Seal colony and random sightings of deer.

The mountain landscape that surrounds the loch. 1126m high Ben Cruachan to the east overlooks Taynuilt. Beyond Glen Kinglass this eastern side of the loch is dominated by Ben Starav, reaching a height of 1078m. Further North Loch Etive is dominated by the view up Glen Etive to the twin mountains of Buachaille Etive Mor and, to its west, Buachaille Etive Beag.

Loch Etive Cruises operate from Easter to October from the pier at the end of the minor road that runs through Taynuilt. Choose from 2 to 3 hour cruises.
