Enjoy a 2 to 5 hour whale and wildlife trip on the Firth of Lorn, aboard the purpose built "Porpoise II" - with nearly 900 horse power it is Britain's most powerful wildlife charter boat. Taking in the stunning islands of the Inner Hebrides including Mull, Iona Jura and Islay. Also including the fabulous Gulf of Corryvreckan - The third largest whirlpool in the world.

The Firth of Lorn Special Area of Conservation is an area of outstanding natural beauty and a wide variety of seabirds such as sea eagles, golden eagles buzzards and peregrine falcons can also be seen circling above along with nesting puffins. Sightings of porpoise, dolphins, minke whales and basking sharks while otters, seals, and deer can be seen along the shoreline.

Getting There
Approximately 8 miles South of Oban on the A816 Oban to Lochgilphead/Campbeltown road, TURN RIGHT onto the B844 signposted for Isle of Seil and the 'Atlantic Bridge'. Follow the B844 onto and along Seil Island, until you see a large bay with many boats on your left hand side. TURN LEFT immediately after the golf course and at the junction where the Balvicar store and post office is set back from the road on the left. Follow the road through Balvicar village, stay on the road as it turns sharp left but as it, almost immediately, turns sharp right, continue straight on, up the rise through the entrance to Balvicar pier.
