Situated on a south-facing slope overlooking Asknish Bay and the Sound of Jura, this sheltered 20-acre coastal garden is home to a diversity of plants from all over the world.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and historical interest, Arduaine Garden is a delightful place to visit at any time. Best time to visit is during the spring display, which is usually April to May.
Arduaine Garden is best known for the wonderful collection of rhododendrons which has been built up here over a period of eighty to ninety years, including many tender species and hybrids which flourish in the moist, mild climate.
The garden is now owned by The National Trust for Scotland.
