Built in 1870 by the Duke of Argyll for his summer residence, Dungallan's commanding and secluded position offers peace and tranquillity and incredible views to three sides over Oban Bay, the Isles of Kerrera, Lismore and Mull and the sound of Kerrera. Inland from Oban there are direct touring links to Fort William and Glencoe, Crianlarich, Pitlochry, Tarbert, Campbeltown and Dunoon.
