The Warringah Aquatic Centre has been proudly owned and managed by the Warringah Council since opening in November 1979. An excellent venue for all ages, WAC has been used as a training venue for canoe polo, underwater hockey, synchronised swimming and the ITU World Cup.

Warringah Aquatic Centre aims to create a viable and vital aquatic recreation facility for Warringah - by encouraging and assisting the local community in their use and enjoyment of the Centre.

Further Information
The WAC has featured in television commercials both here and abroad, including a memorable Coke ad for Japan starring Ian Thorpe. WAC has been seen on screens in countries as diverse as Korea and India, and for products from Cussons Soap to Bundy Rum. WAS has also provided the location for photo shoots for past and present Olympians such as Haley Lewis, Susie O'Neill, Claudia Poll and Kieran Perkins.
