Built in the Victorian era, The Balincourt was originally the private house of a prominent and wealthy Bournemouth family. In 1926 the house became a private hotel. A fair-sized garden stands to the front of the property and is set back behind trees, screening it from the road between Bournemouth and Christchurch.
Each year Balincourt enter Bournemouth in Bloom, and in 2005 won first in class. The house retains many original Victorian features, which they have been careful to incorporate in their refurbishment.
All the bedrooms are individual and tastefully decorated, with each room following a colour scheme, right down to the individually hand painted tea sets, glasses & sweet dishes.
