Recently completed in September 2006, Bracken cottage is a beautifully appointed, cosy and luxurious cottage. Set within their own very large, mature garden, it is completely private, being screened by a thickly wooded bank, home to two magnificent 100 year-old pine trees.

Only 2 miles away is the bustling and beautiful resort town of Oban - 'Gateway to the Isles' - and departure point of ferries to the Inner and Outer Hebrides. The town is well served by numerous good restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. A wide variety of wildlife can be seen nearby from owls, buzzards, woodpeckers and pheasants to foxes and roe deer.

The property offers light and airy lounge with dual-aspect French windows leading to decked patio and separate balcony, double room en-suite and twin-bedded room with adjacent bathroom and a beautiful open-plan, fully fitted kitchen. Private fenced garden and secure parking. Fresh flowers and fruit on arrival. Weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks available (not peak season or Bank Holidays).

As the road begins to descend, look for our sign on the left - sharp turn! From Lochgilphead, follow A816 to Oban, through Kilmore. 300 metres past the little church on the right, look for our sign on the right - also a sharp turn!
