Local Area: Bowen is situated on the Whitsunday Coast, 45 minutes drive north of Airlie Beach and approx 200km south of Townsville. Bowen Backpackers is located 50 metres from the beach and all town amenities. Bowen is surrounded by 8 beautiful sandy beaches where visitors can snorkel and see coral reef fish within metres of the shore. The waters around Horseshoe Bay, Grays Bay and Murray Bay are popular dive spots for scuba diving enthusiasts. Fishing is also a major attraction from the beaches and rocky outcrops or the nearby islands.
Further Information: Full weekly rates include transport to & from work in the local area and courtesy bus to the beach on days off. We give Discounts whilst waiting for work.
