Strumhor offers delicious home-cooked food and freshly home baked goods so why not begin your visit with home-baking and tea or coffee in their conservatory overlooking the sea, the hills and islands, where you can see a variety of birds, seals and otters. Strumhor is the perfect base for sea kayakers. The Firth of Lorn, Loch Etive and twenty islands are within a day's paddle. For white water paddlers, the fantastic Falls of Lora are right on the doorstep. Your host Tony is a qualified kayak coach and can lead trips at all levels.
The lounge has a wood-burning stove and piano. Guests are welcome to use the television, DVD, video and CD players. Bedrooms are decorated in a contemporary style and most overlook the sea. Lorn has a king-size bed, a stunning sea view and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs is ideal for singles or a group of three. Every bedroom has a television with DVD or video. Feel free to borrow DVDs, videos or books from our extensive library.
There is an extensive breakfast menu with freshly baked bread and dinner is available upon request.
