We booked to go on the live bait full day fishing trip in Airlie Beach. For what amounted to a day out similar to that on a 'mates' boat, the price charged was way too much ($189 each). Despite paying this amount, my partner was required to 'assist' in the catching of the live bait by holding a channel marker while our guide dropped a cast net for 20 minutes in an attempt to catch the 'live bait' ...
