Bridge End Garden is one of Essex's hidden jewels. It is one of a series of seven interlinked gardens laid out by the Gibson family in the nineteenth century. These grade II* listed gardens are now leased to the District Council and are open to the public each day free of charge.
Over the past two years an extensive restoration project, generously supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has been undertaken to return this historic corner of Saffron Walden to its former glory so that they can once again be enjoyed by visitors of all ages.
