Burghfield Sailing Club

Burghfield Sailing Club is one of the largest inland sailing clubs in the country. The Burghfield lake has over 200 acres of sailable water and lies along the beautiful Kennet Valley so benefiting from the prevailing south-westerly winds.

The club is open every day from sunrise to sunset. Racing takes place on most Sundays and on Wednesday evenings during the summer. A safety cover is used during races, special events, and junior training sessions and on Saturday afternoons during the summer months.

The sailing club clubhouse has excellent facilities, including great changing rooms, a bar with a lounge area and catering facilities. Hot drinks and snacks are provided on Sundays and, on Wednesday evenings in the summer.
