Beale Park was formed by Gilbert Beale in 1956, he decided to give this beautiful 350 acre, Thames-side park land to 'the people' by converting it from private farmland into a non-profit making, charitable trust.
The park is now full of space, fresh air, tranquillity, fun, adventure, enchanting animals, exotic beauty and all this is situated on the banks of the magical river Thames. There is plenty for the children to do and beautiful garden walks to keep the adults occupied.
After a busy day of non-stop fun stop off and re-charge your batteries in the Peacock Restaurant. They offer a variety of hot and cold dishes, vegetarian options, snacks and a children's menu, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a beverage, wind down with a cuppa or cool off with an ice creams on those hot summer days.
