The Highland Cottage Hotel

Highland Cottage is small, purpose-built hotel, designed, built and operated by David and Jo Currie. Both are career, professional hoteliers and bring many years of experience to their roles. Set amidst the quiet elegance of the town's conservation area, and yet only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Main Street and the Fisherman's Pier, Highland Cottage is a haven of genuine hospitality, well-appointed comfortable bedrooms and exceptional cuisine.

The aim at Highland Cottage is to make it a genuine home-from-home for every one of the guests. With only 6 bedrooms, the service could not be more personal. As they are a Highland Cottage, the rooms are not intended to be the corporate hotel executive suite - nor would you expect them to be. They are, however, extremely well appointed, are very homely and the owners want you to wake up in a room, which does not scream Hotel! at you.

All the bedrooms are appointed to the same high standard with facilities including TV with digital Freeview, VHS video player and CD player. Bathrooms are all fully en-suite with full-size baths and fixed over-bath thermostatic showers. Two of the rooms have fully-dressed 4-Poster beds whilst one room, with twin beds, is situated at street level for ease of access.
