The Cottage

'The Cottage' is situated just over a mile west of Scarinish (for ferry, harbour, shops and bank), and stands about twenty yards from the sea, with a sandy beach some two miles long, just a quarter of a mile away.

The cottage was originally part of Baugh farmhouse, which is now divided into two dwellings, The Cottage, which was completely renovated in 1996, has private gardens to both front and rear. There is a well-equipped, fitted kitchen with washing machine, fridge, electric oven and hob, electric kettle, microwave and toaster. In the utility room, which adjoins the house, there is a freezer and tumble dryer, together with three mountain bikes that guests can use. There is a dining area and a comfortable living room with stereo colour TV and video. The windows are all double-glazed and there is a sea view from all of them.

Upstairs is the bathroom with bath, new electric shower in 2002, WC and two bedrooms each with two single beds. A fifth person can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the living room. The house is fully carpeted and has been completely refurnished in 2001 with brand new furniture and electrical equipment, as the owners like to spend as much time as possible there themselves.
