Cnoc A'Mhurain has a quiet open rural position, within a few hundred metres of Balephetrish Bay with views over the countryside to the sea, particularly from the upper floors. It is one mile from Loch Bhasapol and the active social scene at the Tiree Windsurfing Club
The accomodation consists of a traditional Tiree house and attached cottage, both with separate entrances. There is a connecting door between the houses, which facilitates their use as one house. One is a beautifully modernised traditional cottage. Now with double height ceiling with large Velux windows (sea views!), a polished wooden floor and mezzanine bedroom it still retains the original large open fireplace with a real fire. It has a new fitted kitchen and shower room. It sleeps two and is bright and amazingly spacious.
The other is the 19th century Hebridean "one and a half storey" house. This is the house that would have been built to rehouse the inhabitants of the original house, (which would have then been left to the animals). The accommodation comprises entrance porch, hall, lounge dining room, kitchen, utility room, 2 double bedrooms, (1 kingsize), 2 twin bedrooms, one with bunkbeds.
The gardens are enclosed and there is a gravelled courtyard parking area. There is separate vehicular access to the cottage
