Whitehouse

Whitehouse is a traditional farmhouse situated at the Western end of Balephetrish Bay. It is on fields next to a rocky point, with views across the sea to the Outer Hebrides, Skye, Rhum, Eigg and East to the mainland.

This fabulous house, one of Tiree's original farmhouses, is yards from a rocky shore with great views across the sea and the island. The nearest beach is 400 yards along the shore. The house is off the main road circuit so is very quiet with one other house and some working farm buildings as its only close neighbours.

The house has been extensively modified in January 2007. There is now an upstairs bathroom, 3 large bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, 2 living rooms (one of which easily converts into a 4th double bedroom,) a kitchen-diner and a large dining room.

The house is exceptionally comfortable for six, but as many as nine can be comfortably accommodated by using the second living room as an additional bedroom. There is plenty of living space even if the second lounge is used as a full time 4th bedroom. Several of the key rooms have numerous windows, making it very bright.
