The Estate offers some the highest standard self catering accomodation to found anywhere in the world set in stunning grounds of 100 acres plus surrounding the very famous Portsonachan Hotel. The location is on the shores of the great Loch Awe a 27 mile long fresh water Loch boasting great fishing and boating and incredible scenery.

All the units are equipped to the highest standard and prices include a full mid week service covering a full clean and change of all linen & towels. Most units are set in individual gardens and some have sauna's and two bathrooms all have either views of the Loch or the gardens and are all within easy reach of both the Hotel & the Loch.

The Hotel offers a range of facilities including Boats Mountain Bikes canoe's Windsurfers Free Fishing Fishing Tackle Grat Dinning in the Cruachan Room over looking the Loch 40+ malts in the Captain's Bar.

History: The Hotel was built in the early 19th Century as a summer watering hole for the rich & well heeled and was changed to a Hotel in the early 20th century when a dinning room was added in the Edwarding style with vauled roof and stunning views over the Loch & ben Cruachan The Hotel has 29 rooms & suite plus 31 apartments and lodges in the grounds and was totally refurbrished in the early 1990's and has all modern amenities expected by the 21st Century traveller.
Things to do: The Area has a profusion of Castles and areas of historic interest and great beauty alongside great sporting venues for both shooting and fishing Loch Awe holds the brown Trout record at 31lb 12 oz caught in 2005 and waiting to be beaten.
