The Ball and Chain Grill have one of the most extensive wine lists in Australia. Whatever the occasion they have a wide choice of moderately priced house wines to a selection of the finest wines Australia has produced.

If you have ever had a steak that has been cooked on a real charcoal grill you would have noticed the difference. This does not mean a gas or electric grill filled with tiny old fashioned volcanic rocks. This is a real wood fire burnt down to real charcoal. That is why the Ball and Chain Grill makes your eating experience so fulfilling.

Who came up with the idea to run this place? You have to eat in a rush because they have two sittings, they won't take a booking for 4 or less (so say you have six and then say people bail out). At the end of the early sitting you have to fight your way to get to the loos because people are milling about with drinks waiting for their tables ... Read More
