Glyn Isa is a beautiful 17th Century country house, located in the foothills of the Snowdonia National Park. Set within ten acres of private mature grounds, the property has magnificent views across the Conwy valley. The building dates back as far as 1626, it is one of the oldest properties in the area with the majority of the house being Georgian. It has a wealth of charm .We offer luxury accommodation in 5 king size en suite rooms, some with four posters, beautiful antiques and oringal fireplaces. We can take up to 10 adults. We offer a sumptuos breakfast each day in our lovely dining room overlooking the front grounds and fields full of sheep. In the evening relax in our Orchard lounge in an easy chair by the inglenook fireplace with roaring log fire.

Location
Rowen Village is 1/2 mile from Glyn Isa and is an award-winning village. Here there is a cosy local pub, the Ty Gwyn which hosts "Welsh singing " nights on Fridays and occasional local music on Saturdays. Conwy is three miles away; a medieval walled town on the coast and is full of history, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Walk round the walls; visit the 13th century castle, or Plas Mawr right in the centre of town.
Things to do
Glyn Isa is well positioned to visit all of North Wales. We have historic medieval castles in Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris dating back to the 13th Century. You must also visit beautiful Bodnant Gardens which attracts visitors from all over the world each year. Also Penryhn Castle, Plas Newydd, the home of the Marquis of Anglesey and a holiday for our present Queen Elizabeth when she was a small child. Conwy also has the oldest Elizabthan Manor house, Plas Mawr amongst many other attractions.
