Hakarac Martial Boxing

Hakarac the name is of an East Timorese dialect called Tettun. It means many ways or many wants. Hakarac was established in June 2004 in Perth, Western Australia by Manuel (Mannie) de Matos.

With experiences in Martial Arts such as Tae-Kwon-Do, Budo-Jitsu CQC, 7 Star Praying Mantis, Wing Chun, Kick Boxing, Kali as well as Amateur Boxing, made Mannie realize that the combination of some of these most predominantly arts combined would lead to a system that would give the general public, security, law enforcement agencies as well as amateur and professional competitors a highly energized, simple to learn and apply yet very effective system of self-preservation and self-defence that could be acquired in a very short period of time.
