Tea Pot World is located just off Castle Street, in one of the twenty-two towers that are built into the castle walls that surround the main part of the town. It is Britain's first museum & shop unashamedly devoted entirely to teapots. Founded in 1989 the collection has well over one thousand exhibits spanning over three centuries.
You will find everything from the earliest 18th century Staffordshire salt-glaze specimens, to the Jazz Age Art Deco designs of Clarice Cliff, Susie Cooper, and Charlotte Rhead. Paul Gibbs has 35 years plus experience in collecting and valuing teapots. If you require a professional valuation - for insurance purposes, probate, or for your own information call in and Paul can give you an up to the minute valuation.
The shop has a varied selection of Tea Pots for sale, there is really something for everyone, endless themes: cars, animals, buildings, birds, planes, ships and trains.
