This is a chance to meet up to six artists in their own studios, see their work and learn how it is made. A friendly tour guide will be leading the way, knowledgeable about the artists and the local North Devon area.

The tour is a unique experience including a wide range of artistic styles and techniques: ceramic sculpture, oil, acrylic and watercolour painting, stained glass, wood craft, printing, pottery, collage, photography and textiles. It is also an opportunity to buy art works straight from the maker. On each tour there will be one hour for a lunch break, so bring your own picnic or visit a local café (all are tested and recommended by your guide).

You will be travelling on a luxury mini coach, which is fully air conditioned, and driven by an experienced Devon coach driver. The Art Hopper tour is an inspiring day out in a beautiful landscape, rain or shine-umbrellas are supplied.

Info for Disabled: A Note about Access Unfortunately due to the nature of the places we are visiting, artists own homes and studios, sometimes access will be limited by steps, slopes and narrow doorways. Pathways might also be uneven. Please email if you would like further information.
Features: The Art Hopper artists live and work in North Devon; exhibit locally and internationally. They are inspirational and enthusiastic people who care about their work and local environment. The majority of the studios are open exclusively for The Art Hopper tours, so this really is a unique opportunity. Art Hopper artists include potters, ceramic sculptors, painters, wood craftsmen, stained glass artists, textile designers, printmakers and photographers. Expect to be challenged and inspired by their work. By discovering the techniques used by artists you will often be amazed by the time taken to create one individual piece.
