Aussie Vineyards

The Tamborine Estate is a lush, picturesque vineyard nestled amongst the lush subtropical rainforests of southeast Queensland. Tamborine Estate is located in the Gold Coast Hinterland which is a beautiful area of rolling hills and plateaus.

Red volcanic soil with its great drainage has proven to produce good crops of high quality grape. The vines are now more than 13 years old, thus allowing for grapes with a greater concentration of flavours and hence a higher quality of wine. These delicious wines can be tasted at the Tamborine Estate cellar door, which is open daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm (except Good Friday and Christmas Day).

The drive to the Tamborine Estate is an experience in itself as the area has been described by the Queensland government's tourism department as "an ecological wonderland, a sanctuary for some of the most magnificent birds and wildlife that have remained untouched". At only 30 minutes drive from the Gold Coast, visiting the Tamborine Estate is an opportunity too good to miss.
