After driving from Broken Hill and arriving in the early afternoon Cobar is like a oasis. I only picked the Crossroads motel because it was on the road to where I wanted to go to next day. I am glad I did, what a very pleasant place to stay! The manager was very friendly, the room was excellent and even the other patrons seemed happy to be there ...
