Blackpool Outdoor Adventure Group

The Outdoor Adventure Group (OAG) was founded in Blackpool as part of the youth services department in 1992 to provide assistance to Youth Leaders and adventurous activities for young people.

The group runs many courses and days out, canoeing and kayaking. It is a great way to keep fit, make new friends and receive some certificates.

The group is not limited to the Blackpool area but now covers the whole of the Fylde coast, responding to the needs of the wider community. It is a generally self financing group with the help of small grants and payments from local authorities and youth groups.
