Anchorman Charters operates out of Barry most of the year and Penarth Marina for the cod season during November, December and January. Anchorman III is one of the faster charter boats in the Bristol Channel, cruising at 19 knots and capable of 25 knots, thereby making the excellent fishing areas of Nash and Stout Point easily accessible within 30 mins.
Anchorman charters fishing for Cod, Bass, Conger, Rays, Smoothounds, Spurdogs and Tope off the coast of South Wales and North Devon. The skipper Dave has a very good knowledge of fishing in the Bristol Channel, which has a reputation for superb fishing in its fast flowing silty waters.
The boat is equipped with the very best in hi-tech navigation and radar equipment. Facilities include a large toilet, which is adjacent to the wheelhouse and a canopy for shelter.
