The Happy Valley is a beautiful Tiered garden with many rare tropical plants and spectacular views. It is nestled in a sheltered hollow on the eastern side of the Great Orme. Listed by CADW as a public park it was dedicated to the town of Llandudno by Lord Mostyn in 1887 in celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
The lower slopes of the park consist mainly of informal gardens with a tea pavilion and entertainment. There is room for parking along the road side leading up to the park or you can drive up the steep slope through the park to the dry ski slope where there is ample car parking for the visitor.
