Aikido WA (Aikikai)

Established in 1982, Aikido WA is the Western Australian branch of Aiki Kai Australia. Hugh Derham Sensei (6th Dan) is the most senior instructor and has been teaching and training for over 40 years

Aiki Kai Australia was founded in 1965 by S. Sugano Shihan, a direct student of the founder of Aikido. Sugano Sensei continues today as one of the most senior and respected Aikido teachers in the world. Aiki Kai Australia has representatives in all States and Territories. Their gradings are recognised internationally.

They have classes available in Leederville (Sun thru Mon), Armadale (Tue & Thu) and Fremantle (Fri & Sat), with classes for all ages and body types. Beginners are welcome.
