4 star Self-Catering holiday cottage sleeping 3 people in the village of Trefriw and 5 miles from the busy village of Betws-y-Coed.

The cottage is located in the Snowdonia National Park and has views over the Conwy Valley, and is within walking distance of pubs/restaurants and the village shops.

The main bedroom is spacious and has a Queen sized bed OR twin beds with views over grazing farmland. The second bedroom contains a single bed. Lounge with log burning stove. Well equipped kitchen.

Garden/patio with a seating area. Parking is on the road outside the property.

All gas/electricity included in the price so no need for coins for a meter!

Local Area: The village of Trefriw is how you would wish a village to be; quiet, friendly with eating places within walking distance, but views over countryside. There are walks from the cottage on the Trefriw Trails and you can walk over the embankments through the fields. The village also has a working woollen mill turning raw wool into beautiful rugs and bedspreads. You could also visit the Trefriw Wells Roman Spa and taste the mineral water. The ideal base for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
Things to do: Llanrwst is the nearest town; useful for its supermarket but whilst you're there visit the Gwydyr Chapel in the Church (off the town square). Or you could drive up the beautiful Conwy Valley and visit Conwy Castle (exactly how a child would draw a castle!), walk the town walls and see the smallest house (down by the quay). Next why not visit Llandudno, a Victorian seaside town with a pier. Head back to the cottage down the other side of the river and stop off at Bodnant National Trust Garden. And don't forget to allow time to visit the mountains ...
