The Port Royal Hotel

The Port Royal Hotel is located on the Isle of Bute, which lies off the coast of Argyll in Western Scotland, it is a half hour ferry ride from Wemyss Bay at the mouth of the River Clyde.

The Hotel is located at the picturesque waterfront, it is a haven for walkers, cyclists, fishermen, birdwatchers, yachtsmen, and nature lovers. Situated close to the seal colony at Scalpsie Bay and the bathing beach at Ettrick Bay. From outside the hotel, buses leave for the ferry at Rothesay, on circular tours of the island, and north across the water into the highlands and islands.

The Port Royal Hotel Russian Tavern serves all freshly cooked local produce to recipes and menus carefully researched from the Tsarist kitchen archives in St. Petersburg. The Russian cuisine is complimented by local real ales served direct from the casks.
